Meet our Team

Behind every service we provide is a dedicated team of Ladies, each bringing their unique expertise and enthusiasm to our business.

Tracey Moore

Founder Tracey established this enterprise and can often be found on at least two weekends each month, selling Eripare products on behalf of local women at Council Makers Markets in Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.

Previously, Tracey served as a trustee for a charity that built schools attended by the children of these women. This role allowed her to visit the schools annually and build connections with the ladies. Motivated to empower them, she conceived the idea of paying these women to create beadwork items. The products are then brought back to East Anglia for sale online and at craft markets. Nearly every quarter, all profits in the bank account are shared equally among the ladies. If anyone in the UK is interested in helping sell these items, please reach out to Tracey at brumfan3@yahoo.com .

Catherine Sana salau

Most of the profiles featured here have been crafted by Catherine Sana Salau, our dedicated liaison, quality controller, and Kenyan coordinator for Eripare.

Without Catherine's efforts, sourcing and retaining top talent would be significantly more challenging. It was her innovative creation of watchstraps for Tracey’s father-in-law that ignited the idea of how we could support other mothers, ultimately leading to the founding of Eripare. Many of the mothers we work with have not received formal education, and we are committed to breaking this cycle to provide girls with a future that differs from their mothers'. Additionally, it is common in Maasai culture for men to have multiple wives. Some of our 31 ladies were married as young as 13 and have multiple children. Providing education on various subjects will empower these women to thrive.

If you are in Kenya and interested in beadwork, Sana is your primary contact.

Mercy

Introducing Mercy Olorinyu Kosencha, a proud member of the Kalijan tribe, one of Kenya's prominent ethnic groups. She is the second wife of a Maasai man named Olorinyu Kosencha, affectionately known as Joshua. Now in his 70s and facing unemployment after the passing of his first wife, Joshua found companionship in Mercy. Together, they are raising five children, both parents speak no English.

As Joshua's health declines, the family relies heavily on financial support from friends and relatives. Mercy contributes by earning a modest income through assisting other families with various tasks. Although she creates beautiful beadwork, the lack of tourists has hindered her ability to sell her crafts, leaving the family in a state of poverty. They once owned goats, their primary source of food and income, but lost them during a devastating drought. Now, they have turned to raising chickens.

The family lives in two small tin huts situated near a school. Their living conditions are challenging, as they lack access to clean water, sanitation, and electricity, with only bare soil floors and a central fire for warmth.
